We have two types of users, and our data collection differs for each.
A) Public Users (Event Browsing)
Our app is designed to be used by the public without requiring a user account.
No Personal Information: We do not require you to log in or provide any personal information (such as your name or email address) to browse events, "City Grooves," or "Trending" sections.
Anonymous Analytics: To improve our service, we may automatically collect anonymous, non-personal data. This includes your device type, operating system, and general usage statistics (e.g., which views are most popular). This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Push Notifications: If you choose to receive push notifications, your device will generate an anonymous token (a "Device ID") to receive these alerts. This token is not linked to your personal identity by us.
B) Promoters (Logged-In Users)
To post, edit, or manage events, you must log in as an approved "Promoter."
Email Address: When you log in, we collect your email address. This is the only personal information we require.
Content You Create: We collect the event information you submit, including event names, dates, venues, and images.
2. How We Use Your Information
A) For Public Users
We use anonymous analytics to understand how users interact with our app so we can improve the design and user experience.
B) For Promoters
To Manage Your Account: Your email address is your unique identifier. We use it to verify your promoter status and to secure your account.
To Manage Your Content: We link your email address to the events you post. This allows you to edit and delete your own events.
To Contact You: We may use your email address to contact you regarding your event submissions or to share important updates about our promoter platform.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third parties.
Promoter Information: Your promoter email address is kept private and is not displayed publicly.
Event Information: The event details you (as a promoter) submit (e.g., event name, poster, venue) are public information and are intended to be displayed to all users of the app.
4. Children's Privacy
Our app is a nightlife guide and is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
